# Send SMS Message

This action will send an SMS message to a target number using the selected phone provider.

### Settings

The action uses the following settings:

| Sender Name              | The name you wish to appear as sender on the target phone      | :white\_check\_mark:                                                            |
| User Name                | The user name to be used for this provider                     | :white\_check\_mark:                                                            |
| Password                 | The password to be used for this provider                      | :white\_check\_mark:                                                            |
| Partner Id               | The partner id supplied by your provider                       | :white\_check\_mark:                                                            |
| App Id                   | The Application Id supplied by your provider                   | :white\_check\_mark:                                                            |
| Region Id                | The region associated to your SMS service                      | :white\_check\_mark:                                                            |
| Destination Phone Number | The phone number of the user you wish to reach                 | :white\_check\_mark:                                                            |
| Message                  | The SMS message                                                | :white\_check\_mark:                                                            |

### Remarks

Depending on the selected provider not all settings may be required or displayed. Refer to each [supported provider](https://docs.mylinkconnect.com/basic-concepts/publishing/channels/sms) configuration for details.

The SMS message is delivered to the selected provider and queued. Actual timings for message delivery may vary, depending on the used provider.
