# Postback Button Action

This button will postback to Connect to activate one or more operations. Use this button to move the conversation flow to other interactions on user click.

Under the context menu, this action will work exactly like the typical [Quick Reply Button Action](https://docs.mylinkconnect.com/actions-and-operations/content/xenioo.bots.actions.base.buttonaction).

This action supports an additional Style Action that can be used to extend the look & feel of the button on platform that support styling.

### Trigger <a href="#trigger" id="trigger"></a>

Click. This action will trigger any child operation as the user clicks the button.

### Variables <a href="#variables" id="variables"></a>

This action produces the following variables after being triggered:

| ------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| last\_command       | The full text of the button being triggered                                                                        |
| last\_user\_message | The text that triggered the button. Depending on expressions, it may not be entirely identical to the button text. |

Every [entity](https://docs.mylinkconnect.com/artificial-intelligence/nlp/entities) specified in the detected [expression ](https://docs.mylinkconnect.com/artificial-intelligence/nlp/expressions)will be translated to a runtime variable named after the entity name.
